Solace

Welcome to my world, where stories stay.

I gave myself the name Solace before I gave myself permission to write.

I exist mostly online and honestly, I've made peace with that. In a world that still raises an eyebrow at people who find genuine connection through the internet, anonymity isn't a hiding place for me. It's a choice. A quiet kind of strength. Because when you strip away a face, a name, a LinkedIn profile, what's left is just the writing. And that's exactly what I want you to see first.

I've always had a lot to say. About people, about connection, about the strange and tender ways we can both hurt each other and be a quiet solace to one another, often without even realising it. The internet gave me a space to say it freely and I discovered that when you write without a face attached, people listen differently. More openly. More honestly. And Solace became the name I wrote under. Not a mask, but a room of my own.A place where honesty has enough space to breathe. So if you're someone who has ever been told that online friendships aren't real, or that the connections you've built through a screen don't count, you're going to feel right at home here.
